Group Members Savings Balance Report

The Savings Balances Report displays clients' savings balances at a specified reporting date. It has 2 tabs, i.e., Savings Balances Report and the Group Member's Savings Balances report tabs.

How to view the Savings Balances Report

To view the savings balances report you go to Savings/Savings Reports/Savings Balances Report. A screen will appear looking as follows:

• Reporting date: Specify the Reporting date, e.g., "15/11/2016". 
• Report currency: From the drop down list select the currency in which the report will appear, e.g., "UGX".
• Currency Filter:
• Branch Code: Choose a specific branch codethat you want to be reported on e.g. "KA" from the drop-down or tick the Check for all option to include all branches.
• From group no: Enter the group number for which the savings Amounts per Group Member should start, e.g., "KA/G/000001" and in the "Till" section enter the Group number for which the report will stop, e.g., "KA/G/000012" as seen in the screen above. This will show all savings amounts of the group members for the selected range of loan numbers.
• Product: Select a savings product e.g."Free savings" that you want to be reported on from the drop-down the report will display the group members savings balance report for only that product.
• Geographical Area: Choose a at you want to be reported on from the drop-down Geographical areas should have been defined under Support files/Geographical Areas
• Member Category 1 or 2: Select the particular category the members belongs to e.g "Member category 1 for Rural". You might wish to classify all your clients to different categories (e.g. rural and urban; Peri- Urban). Member Category is set at menu Support Files/Group Member Category.
• Gender: Choose the gender  from the drop-down or tick the check-box Check for all to include both gender.
• Balances between:  Enter the range for the savings amount that you would like to have the report about , e.g,. "2,000 - 50,000". This will enable you to see the clients who have savings in the range selected. You can also select the Check for all option to have the savings balances report for all clients.
• Order By: Select from the drop down box how the report to be generated will be classified in the column title/heading, e.g, "Loan Product". The report generated will hence be grouped per loan product.
• Closed savings accounts only:

In the report each account holder's savings balances are shown as per savings products held. The total for all the savings accounts are also shown at the bottom of the page.

• Consolidated per account :  When this option is selected, a client having savings in more than one savings product will have his/her savings amount shown as one block amount.

• Summary of balances:  When this option is selected, the total amount of savings made as per the reporting date selected will be displayed without showing the corresponding savings accounts, i.e., there will be no break down of the savings amounts displayed as shown below:

Click on the Close button to exit the menu.
